In regards to the tornado sirens that were sounding in Jackson , our WBBJ team reached out to Madison County Emergency Services to check in.
Madison Co. EMA Director, Jason Moore shared that new software was installed about a week ago to the main emergency system at the police department.
However, the company responsible for the installation failed to change the preprogrammed time from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Moore says it was simply an error and ‘we do apologize for the inconvenience.’
