Alamo Referendum: Alcohol consumption on the premises

ALAMO, Tenn. — Early voting continues in West Tennessee.

In Crockett County, the Town of Alamo is voting on referendum regarding alcohol consumption on the premises.

Residents will have the opportunity to vote for or against it. Early voting is happening October 16-31.

You can vote Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. And Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

We spoke to one local resident who encourages people to vote.

“It’s our civic duty, it’s our responsibility, and it’s our right. I appreciate the fact that we’ll get taxes off of it,” said Mary Cumberland.

Election day is November 5.
