Humboldt church opens doors for free Gospel concert
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — The Church at Sugar Creek in Humboldt hosted a gospel concert featuring the Sonshiners Community Choir and the renowned Gaither Vocal Band Pianist.
The Sonshiners Community Choir consists of a group of senior adults united together for worship.
Their mission is to spread the light of Christ.
This concert is just one stop on the map for the Gaither vocal band pianist Matthew Holt.
He’s a member of the Gaither music group known worldwide for their award-winning and top-selling recordings, including the Gaither Gospel series, of which 133 products have been certified gold, platinum or multi-platinum.
“Tonight will be the very first time that I’ve played for the Sonshiners group,” Holt said. “We got together this afternoon for a little rehearsal and it’s going to be a lot of fun. These folks can sing you hear me. Senior adults all singing together, praising the Lord, and it’s going to be a good night.”
This event was free for the community to come enjoy a great night of gospel music.
