Knee Temple Church provides 125 free meals during giveaway
BELLS, Tenn. — Knee Temple Church in Bells held a special meal giveaway Tuesday.
Supported by Memphis-based organization ‘Feed the Needy,’ the church provided 125 meals to community members in need. The boxes contained everything necessary for a full family Thanksgiving meal, from turkey to pies. Pastor Arthur Brown shares that he’s thankful for God’s strength and the avenue to receive these meals and give them out to make someone’s day better.
“We put on the whole armor of God so we can stand and when we’re standing, we’re standing to help everybody. Regardless of what denomination, what background — we’re here to meet the need,” said Pastor Brown.
Knee Temple Church also hosts a food giveaway around Easter with a complete ham meal instead of turkey.
