Bobrick Washroom Equipment to expand its operations in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and Bobrick Washroom Equipment officials announced Wednesday the company will expand its manufacturing operations in Jackson.
Through the project, Bobrick will create 26 new jobs and invest approximately $17 million. This is the company’s third expansion in Madison County, demonstrating its consistent growth in the state’s southwest region. Founded in 1906, Bobrick Washroom equipment has experienced immense growth in its almost 125 years.
“We chose Jackson because of the local support so that’s support from government officials, from incentive dollars that they’re willing to give, from their commitment to seeing us grow and succeed and from the employees who work here,” said Peter Nadan, director of corporate development for Bobrick Washroom Equipment.
Since 2020, TNECD has supported 42 economic development projects in southwest Tennessee, resulting in more than 10,000 job commitments and nearly $8 billion in capital investments.
