Final day of Hub Classic Basketball Tournament begins

JACKSON, Tenn. — Monday is the final day of the 12th annual Hub Classic Basketball Tournament.

Held at Liberty Tech High School, the event gathers local and regional high school basketball teams to compete for a great cause. Funds raised by the games go to support Area Relief Ministries.

Girls Head Basketball Coach for Chester County High School, Lee Pipkin, shares that she appreciates how the games can be a teaching tool to try different things and see what her team can do. Pipkin also highlights that the tournament is fun, mentioning a hospitality room for the coaches and t-shirts for her girls.

“We just enjoy coming out here. I think Mr. McKinnie does a great job. It’s for a wonderful cause,” said Pipkin.
