2024 Hoops for the House Tournament concludes in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Four boys and four girls basketball teams went head-to-head for a good cause.

The Ryder Lewis Memorial teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House to host the Hoops for the House Basketball Tournament. The tournament was held at Jackson Christian School in north Jackson and ran from Friday, December 27 till December 30. In honor of Ryder Lewis, all proceeds are going towards the Ronald McDonald House being built here in Jackson.

“Today’s a beautiful day, we had a couple rainy days the first couple days and I just love that people are coming, no matter what the weather. I love seeing people get excited about basketball. It’s a game that Ryder loved and we all still love it and we appreciate the opportunity to be apart of it,” said Chris Lewis, father of Ryder.

The Ronald McDonald House is being built near the corner of Lambuth Boulevard and Forest Avenue.
