Free Health Fair Set for Saturday

JACKSON, Tenn. – It is that time of year again for the West Tennessee Health Fair. Workers with West Tennessee Healthcare spent their Friday getting ready for Saturday’s event. Workers said there will be free health screenings, exercise classes every hour, and even eight sessions with doctors who will focus on important health issues. One of those topics is total hip replacement surgery. “They just want to know what treatment options there are out there from the surgical standpoint and all the other issues that go along with what to expect after this kind of surgery,” said orthopedic surgeon Dr. Cameron Knight. The health fair runs from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
