Hub City Theatre Company presents ‘Barefoot in the Park’
JACKSON, Tenn.—One local theatre group invites guests to get out of the cold and enjoy some laughs.
The Hub City Theatre Company presents its production of Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park.”
The production took place at 3 Sunday afternoon at Turntable Coffee Counter located at 300 East Main Street in Jackson.
The play follows the story of newlyweds Corie and Paul whose drastic differences in personality leads to some hilarious moments.
While the production is considered a comedy, it also has its heartfelt moments as the two navigate their first year of marriage and living in a new place.
“Hub City Theatre is all about doing odd shows in intimate spaces and Turntable is one of our original partners. We returned to them. This is our third show, I think, doing it in this space. So we just love bringing theatre to unconventional performance venues,” said Crista Beals, Artistic Director for Hub City Theatre Co.
If you missed out on Sunday’s event, you can still catch the upcoming performances on January 24-26. Tickets are $20.
