Homes damaged on Black Dog Road in Milan

MILAN, Tenn.—Storms with severe winds also ravaged through Milan Saturday evening.

The area of Black Dog Road was hit hard leaving significant damage to homes, uprooting trees and taking down power lines.

A debris path was visible with scattered items all throughout the nearby fields.

One resident says they were lucky it wasn’t much worse.

“Mostly, the rain was blowing so hard and I think it was hailing because it sounded like it and it wasn’t, had the biggest rain drops I’ve ever heard. It took the power pole out in the backyard. No power until I get the new pole up in and new box,” said Pamela Morgan, Storm victim.

The family is currently without power or heat since the storm hit.

They are actively trying to survey the overall damages and clear out the unwanted debris.
