“The residents can remain anonymous when reporting any tips or leads that they might have,” said Graham.
From what we could find, Thursday’s shooting has become the 4th shooting incident that has resulted in death since the beginning of the year.
- The first occurrence took place January 4 on South Highland Avenue at the Red Dog Bar and Grill. Dantae Connor was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter.
- The next one happened January 21 on Channing Way at the Slim Chickens. Harrison Cobb was charged with first-degree murder in this case.
- The third incident happened just a few days later, on January 25, on Hardee Street. A 15-year-old female was found suffering from a gunshot wound. She later died.
Graham says that any information is important in these situations.
“They ultimately help the police to solve these crimes. They also prevent future offenses. Ultimately, they enhance the overall public safety. So every piece of information, no matter how small, can actually lead to a vital breakthrough in any investigation,” said Graham.
