House Fire in East Jackson Severely Damages Home

JACKSON Tenn.- A home on Pine Street in East Jackson has severe fire and water damage after a fire broke out just after 8 p.m. Sunday night. Officers on the scene tell 7 Eyewitness News two teens were inside the home at the time of the fire, but were able to make it out with no injuries. One person had to be taken to a local hospital on the scene for medical conditions not related to the blaze. Firefighters tell us the fire started in a back bedroom, and the cause is under investigation.
