LIFELINE’s ‘Luck o’ the Irish’ blood drive kicks off Thursday
JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day and one organization is gearing up for a rush of green supporters.
Starting Thursday, LIFELINE Blood Services will host its “Luck o’ the Irish” themed blood drive at their Jackson location on 183 Sterling Farms Drive. The special event will run from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.
All donors will receive a food voucher for a free lunch special from Coyote Blues and a limited edition St. Patrick’s Day themed t-shirt.
“Currently we’re not under critical appeal and we’re so thankful for that but we do want all of our donors to just be really cautious of when they’re able to donate again. Your eligible every 8 weeks if you are feeling well and healthy. Help us stay away from critical appeal and to keep our shelves stocked and ready for patients right here in West Tennessee,” said Melinda Reid, marketing manager for LIFELINE Blood Services.
LIFELINE also said that they “Encourage you to be someone’s lucky charm and donate blood!”
