Lois Evelyn (Larry) Stover, 93, of Union City went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 17, 2025, at The Waters of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Manna Ministries near Union City. Pastor Kyle Chessor and Pastor Kenny Chessor will officiate. Burial will follow in Minnick Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Manna Ministries from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services until the hour of services Saturday, March 22, 2025.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lois was born July 10, 1931, in Obion County, daughter of the late George Alexander Larry and Thelma Lee (Deal) Larry. She married Earl William Stover June 18, 1950. He preceded her in death March 16, 1994. Lois had been employed as a sewing machine operator at the former Salant & Salant in Union City and Obion and the former Troy Manufacturing. She was a member of Manna Ministries.

She is survived by four daughters, Rachel Via (Larry) and Debbie Walden (Wes) all of Union City, Melba Biggs (Jeff) of Cloverdale and Mary Chessor (Kenny) of Halls; six grandchildren, Randy Via (Marsha) and Steven Walden (Betty) all of Union City, Keith Via (Shanna) of Hornbeak, Michael Simrell (Melissa) of Brighton, Blake Biggs (Kelcie) of Cloverdale, Kyle Chessor (Jamie) of Arlington, Kayla Dawson (Richard) of Halls and Cacey Walden of Dayton, Ohio; thirteen great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Lou Larry of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Ray Stover; one grandson, Nicky Via; one sister, Ina Mae James; and one brother, Doyle Henry Larry.
