Man sentenced to prison following 2023 rape in Martin
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE MARTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT:
On April 2, 2023, the Martin Police Department arrested and formally charged Nolen T. Williams, 20 of Dyer, TN with one count of Rape regarding an incident that occurred on that date at 800 University St. in Martin.
On March 10, 2025, Williams pled guilty to one count of Rape-without consent, which is a Class B felony, in the 27th Judicial Circuit Court.
On March 24, 2025, Williams was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge Jeff Parham to serve 8 years at 100% in the Tennessee Department of Corrections.
Williams will also be on the Sexual Offender Registry and under Community Supervision for the remainder of his life.
