Leaders Education Foundation awards over $30,000 to students, community programs

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Leaders Education Foundation awarded more than $30,000 for scholarships and community programs across West Tennessee.

During their annual meeting, $26,000 in collegiate scholarships was given to graduating high school seniors who will be attending a college or university.

Donations of around $5,000 were given to three area chapters of the Imagination Library. The chapters included Madison, Gibson and Crockett county.

The foundation also partnered with Jackson-Madison County Schools and adult education providers to congratulate and honor individuals who have completed their GED.
