Breast Cancer Awareness Fights Disease

JACKSON, Tenn.- Thursday, women got together in an effort to continue the fight against breast cancer. They gathered at the Jackson Country Club to encourage ladies get tested for breast cancer. Organizers said early detection is the best way to fight the disease. “We know our bodies better than anyone else we should stay aware of that any changes see our primary care providers, follow up on that and get annual screenings when we reach the age that we need to have those,” Gina Myracle said, executive director of the Kirkland Cancer Center. October is designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
