Space Heater Causes Paris House Fire

PARIS, Tenn.- Trying to stay warm may have caused thousands of dollars in damage. A house fire broke out in the 100 block of South Porter Street in Paris, Wednesday afternoon. Officials with the Paris Fire Department said a fire was contained to the bedroom and said it was caused by a space heater. Reports said the fire caused about $7,000 worth of damage, but the home was not a total loss.
