Milan presents its annual Easter Egg Hunt

MILAN, Tenn.—One local city celebrates the Easter holiday with an EGG-tra special event.

The City of Milan hosts its annual egg hunt Saturday. The hunt takes place at Milan City Park at 7001 Ellington Drive.

Several families were there to enjoy the event which included not only an egg hunt, but several other fun activities.

Kids were separated into age groups to search for the 14,000 hidden eggs.

There was also a magic show, bounce houses, and “Bowties and Tutus” was there with a petting zoo.

Guests could also enjoy a bite from the local food vendors on site or take a photo with the Easter Bunny.

“This is just for today. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is always the Saturday before Easter, so go ahead and mark that on your calendars for next year. I love our community getting to come out and enjoy our park because we’ve also got soccer games going on today, so it’s a busy day at city park,” said Allyson Harris,  Milan Parks and Recreation.

This is an annual event and organizers say they always have a great turn out.
