A West Tennessee lawyer has entered a conditional guilty plea and agreed to accept a public censure for misconduct by the Tennessee Supreme Court. Last fall, a petition for discipline was filed against Richard Dunlap, III, of Paris, by the Board of Professional Responsibility, alleging misconduct from his guilty plea to misdemeanor domestic assault. The censure serves as a warning but does not affect Dunlap’s ability to practice law.
