Alamo welcomes new medical clinic with ribbon cutting
ALAMO, Tenn. — An official dedication was held Thursday for the Medical Clinic of Alamo.
The Crockett County Chamber of Commerce was present to celebrate the clinic, located at at 18 North Cavalier Drive. The Medical Clinic of Alamo is an integrated primary care practice which means they deal with the mind, body and spirit.
The practice has already started seeing patients and is beginning to grow.
The primary care practice also offers behavioral healthcare and a licensed clinical social worker.
“Access to behavioral health in — especially rural areas — is very difficult and we, my company, has a commitment for providing access and really reaching out to the community and bringing those services to rural markets,” said Rochell Pierce, vice president of operations for behavioral healthcare and team health.
The clinic plans to add substance use treatment towards the end of this year.
