Kenneth Hutcheson
Kenneth Hutcheson, 83, of Hornbeak passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, while doing what he loved, working on the land God gave him.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Aaron Bargery will officiate. Burial will follow in Hornbeak City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Hutcheson, Bradley Hutcheson, Seth Hutcheson, Caleb Hutcheson, Nic Gream and Austin Norton.
Kenneth was born September 8, 1941, in Lake County, son of the late B.F. and Elva (Hood) Hutcheson. He married Thressa (Shelton) Hutcheson July 12, 1960. She preceded him in death June 21, 2024. Kenneth served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from maintenance with the former Bekaert Steel in Dyersburg. Kenneth enjoyed riding motorcycles, his tractor and mowing. He was a faithful member of Samburg Baptist Church where he loved attending services.
He is survived by two sons, Bob Hutcheson and wife Vickie of Samburg and Tom Hutcheson and wife Sherri of Hornbeak; six grandchildren, Caleb Hutcheson of Houston, Texas, Brandon Hutcheson and wife Sarah and Bradley Hutcheson and wife Dee all of Hornbeak, Seth Hutcheson and wife Lana of Henderson, Kentucky, Sunny Jo Gream of Union City and Jacob Mobbs of Nashville; eight great grandchildren; and two brothers, Mackey Hutcheson of the Shawtown community and Rickey Hutcheson of Dickson.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Willie Hutcheson, Jerry Hutcheson, Alton Hutcheson and Gaylon Hutcheson.
