Missing cat returns home after 7 months

JACKSON, Tenn. — A missing cat makes a surprising return home after seven months.

Sparkle the cat originally lived with a truck driver that moved away from their neighborhood without him. Then, for 11 years, he became the neighborhood cat for those who live in midtown Jackson.

But for the past seven months, he went missing. One day though, Sparkle surprisingly made his return. His caretaker, Frank Neudecker, says Sparkle recently approached him looking tired and appeared to have lost 1/3 of his body weight.

“It’s kind of one of those modern miracles that you find that happen every so often. You want to thank God for it I guess. You know, cats seem to know there way around and he found his way home,” said Neudecker.

He is now being nursed back to health by his family.
