North Side Football Preview

The North Side Indians football team are in preparation
for the 2025 season. Last year they began their campaign
with a loss to Crockett county but then followed up with
four straight wins. The Indians posted a four and one record
in district play while getting to the playoffs with a 6-4 regular
season record. In the playoffs they saw their season come to an
end with a final of 47 to 24 against Station camp. This Indians team was known
to make explosive plays on offense and on the defense in the secondary
and will be looking to do more of the same this time around. We spoke
with head coach Woodrow Lowe Jr. and he talked about what the team
has been working on since the dead period and what returning starters mean
for the program.

“Getting in shape getting in shape its a little bit hotter than it was before dead period so getting in shape you  know trying to beat the heat  and all of that stuff being smart with it but getting in better shape so we can sustain the season try to get ready for the pads to come on. I feel pretty good like i said we got a couple of stars on both sides of the ball we got some lineman coming back we got most of our skill guys coming back so i feel pretty good about them being able to execute like i said its year 3 you expect a lot more out of them.”
They will kick the season off on Friday August twenty
second on the road facing off with Jackson Central Merry
