The Jackson Police Department has now identified the victim in Friday night’s shooting that occurred on Campbell Street in Jackson.

Victim Identified in Homicide on Campbell Street
The Jackson Police Department has identified the victim in the shooting that occurred on the 1300 block of Campbell Street. The victim has been confirmed as 18-year-old Ja’Carreon Jermaine Williams.
This tragic incident, which resulted in a homicide, is under active investigation. The Jackson Police Department urges anyone who may have information related to this case to come forward.

JACKSON, Tenn.—-According to the Jackson Police Department, one person has died following a shooting Friday night in Jackson.
The Jackson Police Department released the following statement regarding the incident.

Shooting Under Investigation of Unidentified Male
On Friday, July 11, 2025, at approximately 10:20 pm., Jackson Police responded to a shots-fired call in the 1300 block of Campbell Street. Officers are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of an unidentified Black male.
