JACKSON, Tenn. — Officers say around 11 p.m. Thursday a worker leaving the Pizza Hut on West Chester St. was robbed at gunpoint of her purse and the restaurant’s bank deposit. Police have charged Darrell McNeal with aggravated robbery and evading arrest. McNeal was arrested within minutes. Even with the quick arrest many said this type of crime makes them question their safety in the area. “What if there were people in there dining and eating and children there,” Tammy Manns said. “So yea, its getting scary to be in Jackson.” McNeal is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
