89-Year-Old Woman Relives Her Career for One Day

JACKSON, Tenn — An 89-year-old former hospital volunteer got to relive her career Friday thanks to Second Wind Dreams. Betty Seals worked at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville for 25 years as a volunteer. Friday she worked the front desk at Get Well Family Clinic. Ms. Seals now lives in Jackson at Elmcroft Assisted Living Center. She said working in the medical field is like riding a bike, once you learn it, you never forget. “Oh I’m feeling pretty good, I don’t have a lot of energy but I feel OK,” Seals said. “I didn’t feel too good yesterday but I feel good today.” After Seals finished her work at the clinic she had lunch at Don Pancho’s.
