ELECTION RESULTS: Trenton, Gibson Co. Special School District

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Gibson County Special School District and Trenton Special School District election was held Thursday, August 7.

On the ballot were three Trenton Special School District seats and two Gibson County Special School District positions.

All seats for the Trenton Special School District were uncontested.

Results: Ross Pope received 36 votes for seat 2. Justin Weaver received 36 votes for seat 5, and Clint Hickerson received 37 votes for seat 3.

In Gibson County, Benny R. Boals went uncontested for position 6 and received 17 votes.

The only seat contested was Gibson County Special School District Position 2.

Eddie Watkins won the seat with 117 votes. His opponent, Holland Sloan Brewer received 70 votes.
