Ashlyn Swinea

Ashlyn Swinea joined the WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News team in August 2025.

Ashlyn was raised in McKenzie, TN.

She attended the University of Alabama, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences in May 2025.

While at the University of Alabama, Ashlyn was a Contributing Culture Writer for The Crimson White, where she covered various cultural events.

In Ashlyn’s free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching Alabama sports.

Ashlyn is very excited to connect with the West Tennessee community on a deeper level.
