Beech Lake Bike Fest returns to Lexington
LEXINGTON, Tenn.—The Beech Lake Bike Fest took place Saturday in Lexington.
The event kicked off beginning at 8 a.m.
There were tons of activities at the fundraiser including a BBQ cook-off, bike games, along with a raffle and drawings.
Guests could enjoy live music from Michael Blackwood and several vendors were present with items for purchase.
The event had a wonderful turnout and also served to honor the memory of Eddie Hester.
Admission to the event was $10 with children 12 and under admitted for free.
“We’re excited to be here again as volunteers. We do this for the kids. We do this in memory of Eddie Hester. Our community and different donors are always wonderful to give us a lot of wonderful items,” said Alisha Stanhope, Volunteer for Beech Lake Bike Fest.
Proceeds from Bike Fest will benefit the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
