AES establishes fund to support families, workers impacted by explosion
PRESS RELEASE FROM ACCURATE ENERGETIC SYSTEMS:
MCEWEN, Tenn. – Friday, Accurate Energetic Systems and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee established a fund to support families and workers impacted by the tragic explosion that occurred on October 10 in Bucksnort, Tennessee.
Sixteen lives were lost, and many families, coworkers, and neighbors now face a long road to recovery. Contributions to the AES Families Support Fund will help meet immediate needs first, such as funeral expenses, medical care, housing and food assistance.
“Our hearts are shattered by the loss of 16 beloved colleagues, and our deepest condolences go out to every family, friend, and community member affected by this unimaginable tragedy,” said Wendell Stinson, CEO of Accurate Energetic Systems. “It is important that the families of those we lost, and our surviving employees, have the resources they need to navigate this incredibly difficult time. We are committed to standing by them.”
Contributions will also be used to offer long-term support, such as counseling services for AES employees and surviving family members. Funds will be distributed through trusted nonprofit and faith-based organizations operating in Humphreys County and Hickman County, ensuring resources reach those in need.
“Accurate Energetic Systems would like to thank everyone who has reached out and supported our community,” said Stinson. “The generosity and compassion we have seen this past week has given strength to all of us.”
