Residents participate in local No Kings protest

JACKSON, Tenn.— Residents participate in a peaceful protest in downtown Jackson.

The “No Kings” protest took place Saturday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Around 100 attendants marched in the Jackson event joining millions of protesters all across the U.S. in a day of solidarity against authoritarian government rule.

Participants held signs, some sitting, and others marching proudly for change in the current direction of government policies and leadership.

JPD was also on hand to ensure the protest remained a peaceful and safe event.
