This week’s Pet of the Week from Tipton County Animal Shelter is Major Tom.
Meet Major Tom! Ground Control, we’ve got a heart-stealer!
Major Tom, a 7 to 8-month-old mixed breed pup, loves meeting new people and loves children! He enjoys saying hello to all dogs, and especially enjoys sampling snacks while out on an adventure.
This young explorer walks very nicely on leash and even sits politely to greet new friends. Of course, he’s still a puppy at heart and sometimes gets so excited, he can’t resist sneaking in a few happy kisses!
Curious, social, and affectionate, Major Tom is ready to launch into forever with a family who will give him plenty of love, adventure, and playtime.

• Breed: Mixed
• Fully vetted
• Neutered
• Up to date on vaccines and prevention
• Would be a great companion for another dog looking for a high-energy puppy friend
• Loves children, but because he’s young and can be a little rambunctious, older kids who are steady on their feet would be best
