Family Resource Center at Haywood Elementary hosts ‘Be Our Guest’ event
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — The ‘Be Our Guest’ holiday event was held Tuesday at the Family Resource Center at Haywood Elementary in Brownsville.
This was part of their come-and-go program at Haywood County Elementary, in partnership with UT Extensions.
They host an event every month. Guest were able to come and get an early start on their holiday shopping.
“The family resource center is a joint effort between Haywood County Schools and UT extension. We are a lending library, and everything in here is free. So, it’s like going to a regular library. You get to check it out and then bring it back in, you get to keep those things for seven days,” said Bridget Dancy, family resource coordinator for Haywood Elementary.
Guests also had the chance to win a small raffle for Christmas gifts.
