Investigation continues into Union City nightclub shooting
UNION CITY, Tenn. — One person is dead and multiple others have injuries following a shooting at Volume Lounge in Union City.

On Sunday, November 23, officers with the Union City Police Department, along with Obion County Sheriff’s deputies, were present outside of Volume Lounge, located at 202 Railroad Street.
Around 12:34 in the morning, multiple gunshots were heard coming from inside the building.
Upon entering Volume Lounge, officers located multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene to begin transporting individuals to the Union City Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Upon arrival, 23-year-old Omariyon Harper of Union City was pronounced dead from gunshot wounds.
At this time, a person of interest has been identified and efforts are currently underway to locate and interview the individual concerning the shooting incident.

As of Monday, Union City Police Chief Ben Yates says they are still conducting interviews and following up on leads.
