Huntingdon celebrates “A Day Full of Magic”

HUNTINGDON, Tenn.—Residents are enjoying a weekend of fun and festive events in Carroll County.

A “Day Full of Holiday Magic” was held in Huntingdon Saturday.

There were several food trucks set up to grab some delicious food or festive treats.

Vendors were available to shop from at two different locations including Mudslingers and the First Baptist Church Family Life Center.

There was a variety of merchandise for sale including jewelry, florals, clothing, pottery and a great deal more. It was the perfect event for finding those holiday gifts.

Saturday’s fun is part of “Main Street Christmas,” a three day event  presented by the Town of Huntingdon in cooperation with The Dixie Carter PAC.

The festivities continue this evening with live performances from local artists with “Christmas at the Dixie.”

“Here at Mudslingers, we are just one piece of that big puzzle. All of the local businesses in Huntingdon are set up today; with Christmas specials and deals. Specifically here at Mudslingers, we have a handful of vendors. And we’ve also got some Christmas ornament workshops going on in the studio,” said Mary Glenys Espey, Studio Manager, Mudslingers Studio.

The holiday magic doesn’t stop there as events are scheduled through December 8 in Downtown Huntingdon.
