West Jackson Baptist presents live nativity to community
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local church shares the Christmas story in a unique way.
West Jackson Baptist Church held their annual live nativity scene.
Students and volunteers were encouraged to participate to showcase their love for Christmas.
Everyone was in attendance including, Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus, shepherds, and even real animals, such as a donkey and goats.
“I think we want to create as realistic of an experience as we can,” said youth pastor Josh Ward. “It’s also fun for kids and families to imagine what it might have been like 2,000 years ago when Jesus was born.”
They plan to continue the tradition for years to come.
