NWS warns of falling ice dangers

The National Weather Service is warning about the dangers of falling ice as the temperatures warm up and ice begins to melt.

NWS reminds individuals that as the temperatures increase, it creates slabs of snow and ice that will slide off roofs and overhangs. The weather service is urging individuals to use extra caution when walking or standing under roofs or overhangs that could have ice or snow to fall.
