Lexington Utilities issues boil water notice
LEXINGTON, Tenn. – Lexington Utilities has issued a precautionary boil water notice for customers located in Chester County, Reagan, Sardis, and the southern portion of their system.
The notice is for customers in those areas that experienced low to no water pressure due to main water repairs.
Lexington Utilities said, “Please boil water intended for human consumption until notified. Due to the water main repair, your water may have air in the lines and be dingy. We will post updates on our Facebook page as the situation changes. Thank you for your patience and please feel free to share.”
