Christ Classical Academy honors local pastors at annual recognition event
DYERSBURG, Tenn. — Christ Classical Academy held its annual Pastor Recognition Focus at First Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg, bringing together local ministry leaders to be honored by students and staff.

The event, held once a year, is designed to recognize pastors for the role they play in the community. Brad Dennison, an educator at Christ Classical Academy, said the occasion reflects the weight of pastoral work.
“The role of a pastor is shepherd, and so, the role that they play in our lives is worthy of being recognized,” Dennison said.

Jonathan Anders, youth minister at West Dyersburg Church of Christ, said the gathering offered a meaningful experience for those in attendance.
“As a minister coming in and being encouraged, and just having the privilege of being able to step into this environment and spend some time with them, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that,” Anders said.
Lower School Dean Angie Nichols said the event also connects to the next generation by teaching students to honor the leaders in their community.
