Build Day1

“This is a relatively new organization to Madison County. They are filling a need that a lot of people don’t realize we have, and so, we’re proud to partner with this and try to get some people out on a nice Sunday afternoon to get some beds built”, said Mayor Massey.

Attendees from across the city and county gathered at the Farmers Market in Downtown Jackson.
The event supports ‘Sleep In Heavenly Peace’ in Jackson to build beds for local Jackson kids.
Attendees of all ages and skill levels help build the beds.

Build Day2

“You can check out our Instagram feeds and Facebook pages. You can see how things are going and can see the need, you can also go on there and apply for a bed, if you have a need in your home, a neighbor, or somebody that might have a need, you can go on there and apply for a bed and they’ll contact you. They’ll come out, they’ll assemble the bed in your bedroom, and they’ll set it up for your child and make sure it’s ready to go,” Mayor Massey says.
