‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘Melrose Place’ actor Patrick Muldoon dies at 57, reports say

(Gray News) – Actor Patrick Muldoon has died at 57, according to reports.

Muldoon is best known for his role as Austin Reed in the daytime soap opera “Days of Our Lives” and as Richard Hart in “Melrose Place.”

His manager confirmed to Variety he died suddenly on Sunday.

Deadline reported Muldoon died after a heart attack.

Muldoon’s sister told TMZ that his girlfriend found him unconscious on the bathroom floor after saying he was going to take a shower.

Just two days ago, Muldoon shared his excitement on Instagram as an executive producer for a project filming in Australia.
