Chick-fil-A Vann Drive moves to new Jackson location with expanded parking, drive-thru lanes
JACKSON, Tenn. — One franchise opens a new location in the Hub City. It’s a fan-favorite, but expected traffic may cause headaches.

Here in the Mid-South, people love chicken delicacies, making Chick-fil-A one of the top spots for a quick meal. Although surprisingly, this line is quite empty.
That’s because after nine years, Chick-fil-A Vann Drive is reopening in a brand-new space.
“From our drive-thru and our kitchen setup, our team is a lot better equipped to be able to serve our guests,” said Grant Edwards, owner and operator at Chick-fil-A Vann Drive.
For 30 years, Chick-fil-A sat at 3 Stonebridge Boulevard.
“It was a little bittersweet leaving that building just because we had so many good memories,” said Edwards.
Now, moving across the street Edwards says they have more space and newer amenities but what led to this move?
“It was a pretty tight parking lot,” said Edwards.
Getting in and out of the old location was a challenge, and often backed up traffic. This new location is meant to alleviate that, but many community members are concerned for the extra traffic at an already busy interaction.
“We are really thankful we have a bigger parking lot with lots more drive-thru queuing, so we think that takes a lot of pressure off of the road. But there’s also different ingress egress points to this pad,” said Edwards.

The newly built restaurant features a new indoor playground, more drive-thru lanes, and also mobile-thru.
“For our guests, we know it’s going to be a much better experience for them,” said Betsy Edwards, Grant’s wife and co-owner and operator at Chick-fil-A Vann Drive.
Chick-fil-A Vann Drive will also add 50 new team members for a total of 160 staff personnel.
Chick-fil-A Vann Drive is now open Mondays through Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 2200 Emporium Drive in Jackson.
