“Making this lemon into some lemonade, so that’s what I’m doing with these masks,” Lee said.

“I don’t think she knew what she was getting herself into, so I am here to help! Let me tell you, it is a process! You have orders after orders!” said Tricia’s daughter, Vonda Peet.

So far, they’ve made more than 300 masks.

“I feel like I’m doing the will of God,” Lee said.

The cotton masks ranging in different colors and patterns cost $5-7. They give them to community members in Tennessee and people in desperate need across the country.

“I got some mailed to New York and California and New Orleans and different places. I got orders right now from Arizona and Ohio,” Lee said.

Some nights she works until 11 at her shop. She donates masks to health facilities and has even helped people in emergency situations right before they go to the hospital.

“God has given her the gift to do it and I think it’s our duty to give back in what he gave to us and we give back to him by helping people,” Peet said.

“We want to this pandemic to end, but if I could do face masks the rest of my life, I would. That’s what I would do,” Lee said.

Tricia Lee Designs is located at 2112 Hollywood Drive, Suite 26 in Jackson. You can call (731) 928-6954 to order face masks for pick-up.
