Obion County EMA Director: Tornado Damage Estimated at $750,000

OBION COUNTY, Tenn — According to Emergency Management Director Danny Jowers, Monday’s EF 2 tornado created an estimated $750,000 worth of personal property damage. Jowers said Obion County did not have enough damage to qualify for state or federal funding to clean up storm damage. Luckily, everyone has insurance to help cover the cost of the damage. The tornado damaged several homes and buildings. This estimate does not include the damage to agricultural equipment.
