The pastors met outside the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Thursday morning.

Sheriff’s office deputies and employees joined them outside for the prayer.

“We realize they have a great responsibility, they leave their families to come out and protect our families. I thank God for them. It takes courage to do that and we want the blessing of God to be on each and every one of them,” said Pastor James Taylor.

Next week they plan to pray outside of the health department in Jackson.
