NORTH JACKSON — Harley owners in West Tennessee took a ride through Madison County to raise money for athletes with special needs. Saturday was the first time Bumpus-Harley Davidson and Golden Circle Harley Owners Group held the ride. At least 30 men and women paid to kick up their Harley’s for Special Needs Athletics. The riders also paid $10 for T-shirts, to help SNA with everything they need. “So to have somebody, an organization this big to host our event for us is just unbelievable,” Mona DeFord said, Leadership Member for SNA. “It brings in money and it brings in new fans of Special Needs Athletics.” Around noon on Saturday, a group called Beyond Blame played music. SNA says they will use the money for a new baseball field at the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex.
