Early Morning Homicide Outside Jackson Nightclub Under Investigation

JACKSON Tenn.,- Jackson police are investigating the early morning Homicide outside a west Jackson nightclub. Police say Jamar Rogers, 24, of Jackson was brought by private vehicle to the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital around 3 a.m. Sunday.. He was pronounced dead shortly upon arrival. Officers believe Rogers had just left the Ultra Lounge at 1869 U. S. 45 Bypass, and as Rogers was getting into a car on the parking lot, he was struck by a bullet. The driver took him to the hospital. Police are seeking information on a beige or gray, four-door sedan seen leaving the area immediately after the shooting.
