Scout Troop holds flag retirement ceremony

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — An entire event was held not only to honor the flag, but to also retire hundreds of American flags on Saturday. The event was an Eagle project for Scout Zack McFarland in Troop 68. The troop collected more than 200 flags and took them to the Brownsville Cemetery by Hearse and police escort. There, during a special ceremony they were retired by being burned.
