Television cop drama to be screened in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The International Black Film Festival of Nashville and Black Entertainment Television are providing a screening of the new television movie “Gun Hill.”
The event is at 7 p.m. CDT Saturday at Regal Cinemas at Opry Mills in Nashville.
The movie debuts at 9 p.m. EDT July 2 on BET.
The cop drama is the story of identical twins, both played by actor Larenz Tate. One twin is a police officer, and the other is a con. When the officer is killed, his brother assumes his identity.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with Tate, who is known for his roles in movies such as “Ray,” ”Love Jones,” ”Menace to Society” and “Dead Presidents.”
